Full job description
ChannelEngine is looking for a Product Operations Manager 🎉Our Product team operates across multiple domains and product teams. We have established the foundations of our product operating model: the next step is to turn those foundations into a reliable system that works across teams and continuously improves.
What will you do as Product Operations Manager? Your role will be to make ChannelEngine's product organization run with greater clarity, consistency, and pace - owning the operating system that connects strategy, signals, planning, and progress across multiple product teams. 🌟
Key focus areas include leading the quarterly product-planning cycle, maintaining a single trusted view of roadmaps and delivery risks, and building a lightweight reporting rhythm that surfaces uncertainty early without adding unnecessary process overhead. Through structured product signal intake and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Delivery, you'll ensure customer and market insights are consistently routed to the right Product Owner and feed directly into prioritization decisions.
Collaboration is key as you'll coach Product Owners to apply shared operating standards independently, build reusable playbooks and templates, and use automation and AI to reduce manual coordination - so the product organization spends less time compiling status and more time making good decisions.🚀
What makes you the ideal Product Operations Manager?
-
Substantial experience (7+ years) in Product Operations, Product Management, or program management in a B2B SaaS or technology environment,
-
First-hand experience running product planning, roadmap, prioritization, or portfolio processes across multiple teams,
-
A strong understanding of how effective Product Managers and Product Owners work, without needing to own their product decisions,
-
The ability to turn ambiguity and fragmented practices into a simple, scalable operating system,
-
Strong facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, including the confidence to hold agreed standards and deadlines with senior colleagues - and comfortable using data to make progress, risks, and trade-offs visible, even when the message is inconvenient,
-
Excellent written and verbal communication in English,
-
Currently residing within commuting distance of Leiden.
Nice to have (but not essential)
-
Working with Jira, Confluence, product-roadmapping tools, analytics platforms, and workflow automation,
-
Working in a marketplace, e-commerce, integration-platform, or other complex B2B product environment.
Why you’ll love working here
-
We offer a professional, yet informal work environment, where it’s easy for you to try new things, share your ideas, and make an impact
-
You’ll be granted equity benefits and have access to financial coaching so that we can grow together 🌱
-
You’ll be working in an open and collaborative company with +/-200 colleagues of over 40 different nationalities 🌎
-
Plenty of autonomy: we empower people to make independent decisions and take ownership of their work and projects
-
Our Happy & Healthy Team organises numerous wellbeing initiatives to keep us all… happy & healthy, including various social activities such as bouldering, ice-skating ⛸️, game nights 🎲, and picnics 🍽️
-
We’ll contribute 6% to your pension fund
-
We have a continuous feedback culture to help you track your progress and facilitate your professional development 🎯
You’ve applied. What’s next? We want all of our candidates to enjoy a smooth and efficient experience with us which is why we aim to get back to you regarding your application within 2 business days. The first step is a screening call with a member of the recruitment team. This is followed by video meetings with members of the Product team, and the hiring manager. The final step is a visit to our office to meet the head of the department and the hiring team. Our interview process tends to take +/-4 weeks to complete 💙
Statement about use of AI in applications Excessive AI use in CVs and cover letters is discouraged. We’re most interested in hearing your genuine voice and understanding the person behind the application.
