Full job description

Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Sr. Plant Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Plant Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting plant operations and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Plant Engineer

Location: Cromwell, Kentucky

Pay Range: $130,000 - $150,000

What's the Job?

  • Provide technical leadership to ensure plant operations run efficiently, reliably, and at peak performance.

  • Guide engineering and operational initiatives that maximize equipment uptime and improve system reliability using OEE principles.

  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, and cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges and optimize processes.

  • Develop and lead plant-specific engineering and maintenance projects to meet key performance goals.

  • Manage site capital investment strategies, including developing budgets for future projects and multi-year capital planning.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in food manufacturing or a related industry.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

  • Experience managing capital budgets and executing technical strategies.

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office tools, and general office equipment.

  • Willingness to travel to vendors, seminars, other plants, and corporate offices as needed.
