Full job description
Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: Virginia, VA
Type: Contract
Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote
Responsibilities
-
Coordinate and facilitate Scrum events such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous team improvement.

Act as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams, promoting Agile best practices and principles.

Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to manage and prioritize the product backlog effectively.

Support the development team in removing impediments to ensure smooth progress of sprint deliverables.

Monitor, track, and report on team performance metrics and sprint progress.

Support the adoption of Agile methodologies across teams and departments as needed.
Requirements
-
5-10+ years of Scrum Master experience
-
Strong preference for candidates with 10+ years of experience
-
Experience supporting Agile teams in complex enterprise environments

Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills

SAFe and Scrum certifications are preferred
