-
Directly manage a team of machine operators and maintenance technicians, including contractors and external service personnel
-
Lead process parameter development across relevant alloy systems, from initial development through qualification and production release
-
Drive new product development on the LPBF platform - collaborating with engineering and design teams to translate part requirements into qualified, production-ready processes
-
Manage production build planning and execution, coordinating with internal teams on scheduling, powder inventory, and shared equipment
-
Serve as primary point of contact for equipment and powder suppliers - managing vendor relationships, service contracts, and procurement
-
Drive continuous improvement in yield, build quality, and machine utilization
-
Document and maintain process standards, SOPs, and build record
Qualifications
-
STEM degree (Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field)
-
5+ years of direct LPBF experience, with demonstrated expertise in process parameter development and new product introduction
-
Hands-on experience developing and qualifying parts in high-performance alloy systems
-
Prior experience managing or leading technical teams, including contractors or external vendors
-
Experience with vendor management and production operations in a manufacturing environment
-
