Summary:

We are actively seeking exemplary candidates to join 3E’s competitive Sales Training Program. We provide the tools and training for learning the ins and outs of one of the nation’s fastest growing industries. In this approximate 18-24-month development position, you will be exposed to various roles in each facet of the company, gaining experience in Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, Account Management, Outside Sales, Purchasing, Operations and more! The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, exemplifies stellar time management and communication skills, and is excited to be empowered and involved in business goals and initiatives. This role provides the tools and training for to find success within the company in a sales-focused position in project management, quotations, inside sales, or outside sales.

Positions available at various locations throughout Iowa--please ask your recruiter if you have questions on location! Location needs at time of job posting: Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Ottumwa, Sioux City, Windsor Heights, Waterloo.

Reports to: Location or Division Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

• 4 year bachelor's degree (business preferred)

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)

• Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)

• Reliable transportation to and from work locations

• Experience working in a blue collar work environment

Working Conditions:

Conditions vary based on the trainee’s current segment of the training and will include warehouse, office and external environments. During some segments, activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Office segments may include sitting for extended periods. Various segments will include some travel – both by car and by air.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Essential Job Functions:

• Learning all aspects of the CED business

• Sales and customer service

• Attending classes online as well as in-person at various locations

• On the job training and mentoring

• Establish, develop, and maintain relationships and rapport with solar customers

• Goal planning with Division and Training Managers
