Job Description
Manages, plans and organizes the staff and operations of the Sleep Center. Ensures staffing, materials, and equipment needs are met. Participates in development and maintenance of methods to ensure staff validation and/or competency. Researches and implements approved solutions to acquire accurate patient data. Participates as a faculty member in the physician graduate medical education of the sleep medicine fellowship program.
Job Responsibility

Provides leadership to Sleep Services team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives.

Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system.

Participates in the development of strategic goals and objectives; develops, implements and evaluates operating policies and procedures.

Develops, monitors and justifies financial management including operating and capital budgets, and revenue; Schedules studies and work assignments; Investigates, recommends and oversees the implementation of approved new equipment and protocols.

Manages, evaluates and reports Quality Control and Quality Assurance.

Maintains compliance with organization policies, and government/ agency laws and regulations.

Builds and maintains productive inter/intra departmental and referral relationships to optimize operations.

Selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports.

Develops and conducts presentations and training.

Job Qualification

Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Current License to practice as a Polysomnograph Technologist in New York State, and Current Basic Life Support Professional Certification required, plus specialized certifications as needed.

6-8 years of relevant experience and 2-5 years of leadership / management experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $85090.00-$147220.00/year
