Job Description

The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic partner to the Applied AI leadership team, helping drive operational excellence, organizational alignment, and execution across a global, cloud-focused organization applying AI to product support and related business needs. This role is critical to maintaining business rhythm, advancing key priorities, and enabling leaders to focus on customers, employees, and strategic outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Chief of Staff, business operations, program management, or leadership-support experience.

  • Experience supporting a senior leader in a large, matrixed technology organization.

  • Familiarity with workforce planning, budget management, hiring processes, performance cycles, and organizational communications.

  • Interest in AI-enabled support experiences and in helping scale AI adoption across an organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the organization's operating cadence, including All Hands meetings, leadership meetings, business reviews, planning cycles, and follow-up on actions and commitments.

  • Partner with leadership on hiring strategy and execution, including weekly hiring reviews, candidate offer approvals, headcount planning, transfers, and hiring-process management.

  • Act as the primary liaison to the PMO, coordinating enterprise programs, ad hoc requests, critical projects, process development, and change communications.

  • Manage leadership approvals and proxy responsibilities within established guardrails, including travel, offers, hiring-related requests, and other operational decisions.

  • Support annual and quarterly business processes, including strategy and roadmap planning, budgeting, promotions, performance reviews, Focal, and organizational targets.

  • Prepare executive-ready materials for leadership meetings, business reviews, roadmaps, site visits, fireside chats, and presentations.

  • Strengthen organizational communication and engagement through awards and recognition, morale events, surveys, regular updates, and action plans.

  • Build and maintain clear, scalable processes, documentation, project tracking, and collaboration spaces that improve visibility and execution across the organization.

  • Represent the leader in meetings when appropriate, coordinate with senior stakeholders, and ensure priorities and decisions are communicated and carried through.

  • Help identify practical opportunities to use AI and automation to improve team productivity, communications, planning, and operational processes.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $90,100 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
