(https://dys.ohio.gov/) Job Duties DYS is seeking an Administrative Professional 1 to serve as part of our Unit Management team at Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and be a team player. The Administrative Professional 1 will be responsible for providing assistance to assigned unit. Duties include, but are not limited to: + Perform routine administrative tasks (e.g., draft correspondence, compile data, answer telephone, sort mail); prepare reports, schedules, spreadsheets, and documents; proofread and make corrections to documents; + Contact courts and schedule all facility trips; + Maintain your records, process youth intakes, and coordinate youth releases; + Schedules and starts virtual meetings for youth with courts. PRE-SERVICE TRAINING: All new candidates hired to the Department of Youth Services must complete three (3) weeks of paid pre-service training at our Training Academy in Orient, Ohio. The training is Monday-Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. Travel, lodging, and meals are provided. DYS is a “qualifying employer” for purposes of the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness [PSLF] program.
