Description
Cycle Counter
Location: Concord Township, OhioShift: First Shift (Day Shift)Department: Warehouse / Inventory ControlReports To: Warehouse Supervisor or Inventory Control Manager
Key Responsibilities
-
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials.

Verify inventory quantities and locations within the warehouse management system (WMS) and ERP systems.

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by researching transactions, movements, and documentation.

Analyze inventory variances and communicate findings to management.
-
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform data entry related to inventory adjustments.
-
Work collaboratively with warehouse personnel to ensure proper inventory handling and storage practices.

Assist with physical inventories and year-end inventory audits.

Monitor inventory transactions to identify process improvements that enhance inventory accuracy.

Ensure products are properly labeled and stored in designated warehouse locations.

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Support warehouse operations as needed, including material handling and inventory-related projects.
Qualifications Required
-
High school diploma or GED.
-
Minimum 1 year of inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse, or related experience.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.

Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze inventory data.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
-
Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.
-
Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.

Manufacturing or distribution environment experience.
Physical Requirements
-
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
-
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.

Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
