Full job description

POSITION: Automotive Technology Instructor (PT, 10-month, 0.5)

SITE/BUILDING: Edward J. Milliken Technical Center, Oakdale, NY

ASSIGNMENT: Department of Career, Technical and Adult Education

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to plan and implement student learning per the established curriculum

START DATE: September 1, 2026

MINIMUM STARTING SALARY: $62,861.00* (*PT is prorated)

Job Qualifications

  • NYS Vehicle Mechanical Repair (including Heavy Equipment Operation and Repair) 7-12 Certification or eligible for Transitional A Certification

  • 3-5 years industry experience

  • Related CTE teaching experience required

  • NYS Inspection License preferred
