Full job description
Description We are looking for an experienced Corporate Paralegal to support a busy legal function within the automotive industry. This long-term contract position is ideal for a highly organized legal specialist who can manage complex documentation, contract review, and research assignments with accuracy and discretion. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to day-to-day legal operations while partnering with internal stakeholders on a broad range of corporate matters.
Responsibilities:

Examine, revise, and help negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, technology, marketing, event, and hospitality contracts.

Prepare high-quality legal materials such as correspondence, reports, formal documents, and other sensitive records requiring close attention to detail.

Perform legal and factual research, support investigations and due diligence efforts, and present findings in clear summary formats with practical recommendations.

Strengthen legal operations by identifying process improvements related to claims handling, document workflows, and department efficiency.

Organize and maintain legal records, databases, and matter files to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and up to date.

Classify, archive, and manage documentation in accordance with company retention standards and internal compliance expectations.

Contribute to broader legal initiatives and provide support on special assignments driven by business and departmental priorities.

Assist with administrative and operational legal tasks that help the department respond effectively to evolving organizational needs. Requirements • At least 8 years of paralegal experience, preferably within an in-house legal department or corporate environment.

Strong command of commercial contract review and legal documentation, with the ability to spot inconsistencies and correct errors efficiently.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Solid organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Working knowledge of applicable state laws and regulations relevant to business operations.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, legal research platforms, and contract lifecycle or review technologies, including AI-enabled tools.

High level of professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.

Experience with discovery, civil litigation, trial preparation, and case management software is beneficial.
