Summary
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W00YAA US ARMY INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY CMD, Assistant Chief of Staff, G3.
Duties
- Designated as a Program Administrator for the Army Foundry Intelligence Training Program (Foundry).
- Review Functional Lead and Major Subordinate Command (MSC) Training Plans / Spend Plans and Execution Reports and reconcile these with G-8 monthly budget reports.
- Develop training metrics/trends which inform Senior Leaders in POM development, manpower studies, and other decisions affecting the direction of the Foundry Program.
- Standardize institutional decisions, guidelines, and procedures to measurably enhance the quality, content, and deliver of individual and collective Foundry training across Military Intelligence (Ml) forces.
- Develop and disseminate high impact Executive Summaries (EXSUMs), information papers, decision briefings, and Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs) to directly enable Senior Leader decision-making.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience GS/GG-13: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with the planning, programming, or execution of intelligence training programs; participating in working groups or planning teams to support mission objectives; and coordinating with internal or external partners to resolve administrative, budgetary, or operational issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS/GG-12). Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

This position requires a 2 year trial period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
