Full job description

Adecco Medical & Science is seeking an experienced Audiologist for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting Atrius Health and Reliant locations throughout Massachusetts.

Location: Auburndale, Massachusetts

Employment Type: Temporary / Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $ 50.66/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Travel: Yes – between locations based on business needs; no travel to multiple locations within the same shift

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations, including audiograms, for pediatric and adult patients.

  • Perform diagnostic testing such as VNG (Video Nystagmography) and vHIT (Video Head Impulse Testing) to identify hearing loss, balance disorders, and tinnitus.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

  • Recommend appropriate amplification and assistive listening devices.

  • Provide tinnitus counseling and review communication strategies with patients.

  • Select and fit custom hearing protection devices, including musician, swim, and sleep plugs.

  • Obtain comprehensive patient histories through interviews and review of medical records.

  • Prepare detailed reports documenting patient evaluations, treatment recommendations, and care provided.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary teams as appropriate.

Schedule & Locations

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

  • Work schedule may be 4 or 5 days per week , depending on location and business needs.

  • Worcester Medical: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

  • Wellesley, Dedham & Kenmore: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

  • May be required to travel between Atrius Health and Reliant locations based on operational needs.

  • Travel will not require working at more than one location during the same shift.

  • No home-based patient visits.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Audiology (AuD) or Master's degree in Audiology

  • Certified or certification-eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

  • Active Massachusetts Audiology License

  • Experience providing diagnostic and clinical audiology services to pediatric and adult populations preferred.

Pay Details: $50.66 per hour
