In the highly regulated financial services industry, security isn't just a feature—it's fundamental to everything we do. This is a full-time on-site role as a Security Engineering Lead at Greenboard, located in NYC. Who Are You?

- Obsess over protecting the customers you're building for
- An excellent communicator who can translate security risks for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Value collaboration across engineering, product, and compliance teams

- Located in NYC
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in security engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior IC role
- Proven track record of managing SOC 2 audits and security compliance certifications (bonus for ISO 27001, FedRAMP, or financial services-specific certifications)
- Strong hands-on technical skills with the ability to identify and remediate vulnerabilities across code, infrastructure, and network layers
- Experience coordinating and managing penetration tests with third-party vendors
- Deep understanding of common vulnerability classes (OWASP Top 10, CWEs) and modern attack vectors
- Proficiency with security tools and practices: SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, threat modeling, incident response
- Experience with cloud security in AWS and infrastructure-as-code security
- Track record of building security culture and processes
- Bonus: Experience in fintech or other highly regulated industries
- Bonus: Experience hiring and managing security teams
Benefits
