Full job description

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to provide enterprise-focused engineering support to a government customer. You will apply process improvement (Pl), engineering methodologies, and principles to effectively improve and align Enterprise-level processes; facilitate project teams in accomplishing project activities and objectives; and coordinate the transfer of new processes and practices to project teams by providing group facilitation, interviewing, training and additional forms of knowledge transfer. You will also act as a key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure Enterprise-wide integration of engineering efforts.

Qualifications

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Education from an accredited school or university and fifteen (15) years of relevant process engineerng experience is required. Four years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelors’ Degree.

  • Experience with Process Improvement on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Experience is to include, within the past ten (10) years, five (5) years' experience in facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process engineering across all phases of acquisition identifying best practices, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices.

  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

  • Ability to analyze user requirements.

  • Ability to communicate with other government and contract software developers, project leads, and program managers.

  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.

Target Salary Range $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
