Full job description

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Press Operator opportunities in Townsend, MA. Responsibilities for a Press Operator include but are not limited to:

  • Perform complex machine set-up, including stocking materials, generating labels, and reviewing production orders and instructions.

  • Feed stock into equipment, monitor bindery, stitching, and cutting machine operation, and conduct regular quality control checks.

  • Troubleshoot production issues during runs and prepare/deliver finished print products for shipment.

  • Complete daily and routine preventative maintenance on advanced manufacturing equipment.

Candidates for Press Operator must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Minimum of 3 years of prior manufacturing experience operating complex bindery and 1 year of plating experience or print equipment in a printing environment.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Ability to work 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and complete initial training on 1st shift.

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
