Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will develop and apply specific technical expertise in the field of construction. You will apply general knowledge of various types of construction contracts, project delivery methods, and various agency laws and regulations. You will provide engineering support services in the field of construction contracts between military personnel and private contractors. You will support the management and administration of complex and challenging construction projects in various locations with critical and time-sensitive missions and functions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying technical expertise in construction, including at least one construction engineering discipline; coordinating the construction quality management program for assigned projects; and enforcing the contractor's safety program to ensure compliance with contract requirements. GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying engineering support services for construction contracts; evaluating quality-control efforts and reporting discrepancies; and enforcing safety procedures. Education Additional Information Guam is designated as a medically underserved area. Military medical facilities offer space-available primary and limited specialty medical care; however, services are not guaranteed. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
