Position Summary Position Summary As the Senior Manager on the Pharmacy Trade Product team, your primary responsibilities will include developing new and innovative programs and services from ideation to execution in collaboration with drug manufacturer partners. Particular emphasis is on ideating and driving services/insights on programs, products and opportunities, understanding the landscape around data and analytics, product design, end to end product build and execution, strategic partnerships with drug manufacturers, and rapid business case evaluation. You will support the development and execution of strategic and tactical solutions, enhancements, patient journey mapping, and segment analyses, as well as align internal stakeholders on progress and next steps. You will be focused on the flawless execution of new solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Support and lead the strategy and development of new disease state programs and services in collaboration with drug manufacturers including defining project requirements, project plans, process definitions, commercialization, and sales strategies, defining success measures, and ongoing product improvement
  • Collaborate closely with the organization leadership team, data and analytics teams and other functions to identify and understand new use cases, and build/lead their implementation
  • Develop rapid business case development leveraging both internal and external sources of information to make rapid business decisions
  • Design, construct, and execute complex analyses to meet business case requirements
  • Engage cross-functionally across the organization to design solutions, develop test and implementation plans, drive results, and resolve issues encountered by the team
  • In partnership with Trade Strategy and Retail Pharmacy Product teams, strategize, create, consultation, and or refine value statements, business/initiative proposals, Legal vetting and approval, Scope of Services, Fair Market Values, and Statements of Work
  • Build, execute, and report product requirements and KPIs for internal and external teams
  • Develop internal product training and other business release management artifacts
  • Own product governance processes including stakeholder alignment, program oversight, executive communications and operational excellence.
  • Lead the strategic direction, evolution, and growth of product(s by defining and executing the long-term product vision, identifying new opportunities, driving product development, fostering partner engagement, and optimizing performance.
  • Evaluate current processes, identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities, and lead end-to-end execution of process improvement initiatives, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, technology-enabled solutions that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.
  • Deep dive on communication and activation channels with services providers and payers to support Trade Strategy non data product, market research, consultation on non-assigned work, reports, internal documentation of processes, guardrails, etc.
  • Be accountable as a product owner to monitor product performance and proactively identify issues
  • Lead product roadmap development incorporating competitive intelligence, leveraging resources and knowledge across team to deliver results
  • Review and analyze Power BI & Tableau dashboards to identify trends, performance drivers, and risks; synthesize data into clear, actionable insights to support business and investment decision‑making.
  • Interpret data to build actionable insights to improve the product
  • Provide basic administrative support for budgeting and forecasting processes, including maintaining trackers, reconciling data, and supporting periodic submissions •

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product innovation, with a proven track record of developing and launching new products from concept through commercialization
  • 5+ years of experience with spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software, including a strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • 7+ years of overall professional experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage complex models
  • Strong diagnostic capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience building a diverse network of cross-company contacts
  • Ability to lead and direct colleagues (not direct reports) to achieve goals
  • Experience with multitasking, prioritization, and effective communication
  • High energy, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills
  • Foundational understanding of financial management processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking actuals
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, with a focus on pharmacy services
  • 4+ years program management experience
  • 2+ years experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot or similar) as a thought partner
  • 2+ years experience with Power BI and Tableau dashboards to review and analyze data
  • Must reside in the United States: Rhode Island, Illinois or Arizona

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership ability and cross functional influence
  • Strong business and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to drive utilization improvements of 25%
  • Experience developing patient interventions
  • Project management experience
  • 2+ years of experience with FIGMA

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Masters or Doctorate preferred
  • Analytics degree or experience is a plus
  • Advanced clinical degree or experience is a plus

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
