Full job description

Employment Type: Part timeShift: Rotating Shift Description:

  • IV admixture including drug calculations, sterile compounding, chemo and non-chemo admixing, and compliance with USP 797 standards.
  • Hospital drug distribution, including accurately filling floor stock and Pyxis stock, fill lists and restocking.
  • Delivering medications and IVs to the nursing units.
  • Unit dose packaging of oral and IV medications.
  • Work under the direct supervision of the pharmacist.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be a team player.
  • Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Florida.
  • Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician, or willing to become certified within the first 90 days.
