Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer will support the manufacturing team with commissioning and operations projects, primarily focused on equipment-related initiatives. This individual will be responsible for developing Statements of Work (SOWs), coordinating installations, and supporting commissioning activities. The role will involve obtaining quotes from vendors and conducting outreach to subcontractors to support project execution. Candidates should have experience with new manufacturing line installations, upgrades, or modifications to existing production lines. Experience supporting decommissioning projects is also desired. The engineer will work closely with vendors on equipment-related projects and troubleshooting efforts throughout the project lifecycle. Strong project coordination skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required. Candidates with experience working with Rockwell Automation systems are highly preferred.

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Project Engineer; project-focused experience may also be considered.
  • Support new manufacturing line installations, upgrades, decommissioning efforts, and modifications to existing production lines.
  • Create Statements of Work (SOWs) and manage installation, commissioning, and project execution activities.
  • Obtain vendor quotes, coordinate with subcontractors, and support equipment-related troubleshooting and vendor management.
  • Rockwell Automation to work with vendors and troubleshoot
  • Outreach to sub-contractors
