ABOUT THE ROLE
The Region Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales operations within their region to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. This role involves developing and implementing regional sales strategies, managing a team of Territory Managers, and ensuring that sales goals are met or exceeded.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for leading Territory Managers to meeting and exceeding assigned growth goals and targets. Monitor sales metrics and conduct regular one-on-one reviews and team meetings to ensure alignment with sales strategies.

Provide ongoing coaching to Territory Managers, focusing on skill development, adoption of sales process and sales tools

Lead the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring they are fully trained and equipped to meet their sales targets. Develop and deliver training programs that enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Collaborate with Regional Managers and the Sales and Marketing team to develop and execute sales strategies that align with company objectives, selling core products at competitive margins, and selling to new customers in defined segments

Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities. Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams to ensure offerings meet client requirements.

Foster a culture of success and continuous improvement within the team. Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing among Territory Managers on best practices to maximizing return on our sales efforts.

Alongside branch leadership, build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Act as a point of escalation for customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field
-
Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the specialty metals market.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a sales team.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.

Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
