Job Title: Operator I

Job Description

The Operator I performs Direct Fulfillment manufacturing processes to ensure timely shipment of high-quality products. This role focuses on efficient manual assembly, functional testing, material handling, and inventory activities while consistently following safety, cleanliness, and security procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manually assemble systems using torque drivers and hardware to a predetermined volume and quality standard.

  • Perform functional testing on completed systems according to established work processes and instructions.

  • Pull and stage necessary materials from flow racks and bin locations to support continuous production flow.

  • Perform back flush operations within the computer operating systems to accurately record material usage.

  • Conduct physical inventory counts in designated areas to maintain accurate stock levels.

  • Maintain 5S standards of order, organization, and cleanliness at all times in the work area.

  • Adhere to all safety rules and consistently use required protective equipment.

  • Follow all safety and health rules and regulations associated with the position as directed by leadership.

  • Comply with and follow all procedures outlined in the company security policy.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support production and operational goals.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required job-related certifications.

  • Basic proficiency in manual assembly using torque drivers and hardware.

  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and standardized processes.

  • Capability to perform functional testing on assembled systems.

  • Basic computer skills to perform back flush operations in operating systems.

  • Attention to detail for accurate material handling and physical inventory counts.

  • Commitment to maintaining 5S standards of order and cleanliness.

  • Strong adherence to safety, health, and security policies and procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled production environment.

  • Experience in general production or machine operation.

  • Exposure to medical device manufacturing or similar regulated industries.

  • Previous experience in an operator role within a manufacturing setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Clinton, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.34 - $29.42/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
