Cardiac Critical Care Physician Assistant (Locum Tenens)

Join a high-acuity cardiovascular critical care team at a respected academic medical center. We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant with a strong background in critical care to provide ongoing inpatient coverage.

Position Highlights

Inpatient cardiovascular critical care setting
Long-term assignment with ongoing coverage needs
Flexible block scheduling available
Mix of day and night shifts

Clinical Responsibilities

Manage critically ill cardiac patients
Conduct daily rounding and patient assessments
Admissions and ongoing patient management
Post-operative cardiovascular care
Perform bedside procedures within scope of practice
Work closely with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Experience

Critical Care Physician Assistant experience
Cardiovascular ICU experience strongly preferred
Experience with advanced cardiac support therapies
Comfort with invasive bedside procedures
Board Certified and licensed (or eligible for licensure)
