Hiring: Automotive Sales Desk Manager

  • Pay: $90,000-140,000 annual salary

  • Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Reports to: Sales Manager and General Manager

As our Sales Desk Manager, you'll have the opportunity to lead a talented sales team, develop people, drive performance, and help shape the customer experience at one of Madison's highly reviewed automotive dealerships.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and coach the automotive sales team to achieve sales, gross profit, CSI, and customer experience goals

  • Manage daily sales desk operations, including deal structure, pricing, inventory, and sales strategy

  • Monitor sales performance, identify opportunities, and provide ongoing coaching and development

  • Train, cross-train, and develop Sales Consultants to strengthen product knowledge, sales skills, and closing performance

  • Partner with Sales Management and dealership leadership to establish and execute sales strategies

  • Support a fast-paced, customer-focused showroom while maintaining consistent sales processes and standards

  • Review customer and sales activity to identify opportunities for improved performance, retention, and customer satisfaction

  • Ensure sales team members follow dealership processes, policies, and compliance standards

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of Automotive Sales Management experience

  • Must have a proven track record with an exceptional CSI

  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
