Description:

Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Employment Type: Per Diem

Shift: Day shift

Minimum of two weekend shifts per month (7.5 hr shift) and two holidays per year. Both weekday and weekend availability preferred.

Location: Nazareth Hospital - Philadelphia, PA

Position Purpose

The Occupational Therapist will organize and conduct occupational therapy programs within the acute care hospital setting. Administers physician prescribed occupational therapy programs to restore and maximize function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Oversees all activities related to Occupational Therapy services. Will serve as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team committed to providing the highest quality of patient care.

This position will have the ability to cover two or more of the department's units (acute care, outpatient, TCU, and/or ARU).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required. Masters degree preferred.

  • Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of PA.

  • BLS certification required.

  • Two years of inpatient occupational therapy experience required
