We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee federal construction projects in the DMV area. The role involves managing 2-3 projects totaling approximately $15 million. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in federal construction management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of federal construction projects.

• Review the scope of work, engage subcontractors, and coordinate site visits for subcontractor bidding.

• Estimate and bid on task order contracts and IDIQs.

• Coordinate project scheduling, including subcontractor management.

• Provide project management to federal government construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

• Assist with estimating by reviewing the scope of work and aligning subcontractors.

• Facilitate client-facing communications and interactions.

• Handle change orders, RFIs, and project coordination.

• Manage construction documents.

Essential Skills

• 5-10 years of project management experience in federal construction.

• Proficiency in project management, construction, construction management, design, and estimation.

• Experience with NAVFAC and USACE federal construction.

• Computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office and Excel.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• US Citizenship is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.

• 2-5 years of construction field experience.

• A mature professional attitude with excellent organizational skills.

Work Environment

The Project Manager will work from the Hyattsville office with the internal team, with occasional travel to job sites within the DMV area. The company is well-established, focusing on federal contracts and providing excellent employee care. The role requires professional attire appropriate for both office and site visits.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bladensburg, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
