SANITATION WORKER

Kelly is hiring a Sanitation/Prep Worker on behalf of a soybean processing and refining plant for a temporary role. You will be responsible for cleaning buildings, process areas, and promoting plant sanitary conditions – essential for maintaining food safety.

Pay: $20/hr.

Schedule: Day Shift, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Job Requirements:

• Follow all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as outlined in plant policies.

• Adhere to department procedures.

• Complete plant contractor training (with test).

• Maintain and update the Master Sanitation List, signing off on completed tasks.

• Work in a dusty environment and be prepared for both hot and cold conditions.

• Work around loud machinery.

• Use man elevators and stairs as needed.

• Shoveling, brushing, and brooming are key tasks.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required: steel toe boots, hard hat, ear plugs, safety glasses, gloves.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
