Job Responsibilities:
- Observe and guide student behavior in the building, hallways, classrooms, locker rooms. bus loading area, and parking lot.
- Perform observation duties in the lunchroom and assist with general cleanup
- Greet visitors at entrance doors
- Address student to student conflicts
- Enforce all school rules and policies
- Escort students throughout the building as requested.
- Perform additional and special duties as assigned by an administrator
Qualifications:
- Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills with students and staff
- Evidence of excellent judgment in crisis situations
- Evidence of positive attitudes toward people of all ages and abilities
- Evidence of self motivation
- Evidence of punctuality and reliability
- Evidence of flexibility in assignments
- Willingness to receive training
- Ability to maintain a calm, courteous demeanor when dealing with students and adults who are angry/upset
