Full job description

*2 positions. Statewide. Office Location TBD. **This position will require the employee to be able to work flexible hours as determined by the supervisor based on up to a 28-hour work week. Under the limited supervision of the HR Liaison for OSES (Offender Supervision & Enforcement Services), conducts comprehensive candidate background investigations by reviewing official records; interviewing references, former employers and associates; verifying employment, criminal records, education, credentials and other relevant information; preparing detailed and accurate investigative reports.

A bachelor's degree with at least 15 semester hours in social or behavioral science courses and experience in probation and parole work. An associate’s degree and two (2) years of military or certified law enforcement experience (to include Class 1 or Offender Supervision Specialist experience) may be substituted; or a high school diploma and four (4) years of military or certified law enforcement experience (to include Class 1 or Offender Supervision Specialist experience) may be substituted.

Prior law enforcement experience with at least 10 years of experience in background investigations.

**This position will require the employee to be able to work flexible hours as determined by the supervisor based on up to a 28-hour work week.
