The reporting location for this onsite position must be based at the Greensburg or Reading, PA FirstEnergy Office location.

Position Summary
The Facility Project Specialist leads workplace and facilities projects that support organizational growth, operational effectiveness, and portfolio optimization. This role is responsible for space planning, workplace design initiatives, furniture standards, moves/adds/changes (MAC), occupancy planning, and project implementation from concept through execution.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead workplace and facilities projects across the portfolio.

Develop tactical and strategic space plans supporting business needs.

Manage workspace optimization initiatives and occupancy planning programs.

Coordinate moves, adds, changes (MAC), and workplace reconfigurations.

Maintain facility floor plans, occupancy records, and space utilization data.

Develop and enforce workplace standards and furniture specifications.

Coordinate furniture procurement, installation, and inventory management.

Support workplace master planning and long-range space strategies.

Collaborate with business units, vendors, architects, and facilities partners.

Manage project schedules, scope, budgets, communications, and documentation.

Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and operational requirements.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in workplace planning, facilities projects, corporate real estate, or project management.
-
Experience with space planning software, CAD, CAFM/IWMS systems, or related tools.
-
Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Knowledge of workplace design, ergonomics, furniture systems, and occupancy planning.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
