Job Description
An employer in the Cincinnati, OH area is looking for an Epic Analyst for a direct-hire opportunity. This person will be working on an IT Clinical Applications team of 11 FTEs that support the hospital's LIS environment (Sunquest) and Epic Ancillary applications (Behavioral Health, Bugsy, hospital outpatient, cardiac rehab, sleep, spiritual therapies etc). Once trained, this person will be tasked with supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the Orders and Bugsy environment, as well as other highly prioritized IS projects. They also willl be supporting departmental and organizational processes including customer support and problem resolution in a timely manner to ensure maximum system availability. Although they mainly will be focused on support and optimization, they will also be taking part in upgrades as well as upcoming LIS projects. There will be on-call requirement that is a 1/6 weeks rotation and includes after hours. They will be compensated for after hours on-call availability. This is a predominantly remote role that will require a potential onsite commitment 1-2x a quarter for candidates within 2.5 hours of Cincinnati residing in IN, OH, or KY.
Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, healthcare related field, or comparable years of working experience
Orders Cert OR Bugsy Cert OR Ambulatory Cert with a clinical lab background Extensive experience with Epic builds, workflows, Go-Live support, and optimization Multiple Epic certifications and extensive experience as a Medical Lab Technologist or similar clinical lab role Experience with Sunquest or other LIS system
