Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible of the design, development, modification, evaluation and analysis of complex mechanical, electro-mechanical, opto-mechanical components, subassemblies and systems. This person will work closely with cross functional members in engineering, manufacturing, & program management to design, develop & build high-performance systems.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 6+ years of experience
• Able to get a Secrete Clearance
• Experience with SolidWorks modeling and drafting
• Knowledgeable with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and ANSI Y14.5.
• Experience with linear finite element (FE) stress modeling, heat transfer, and computer fluid dynamic (CFD).
• Master's in Mechanical Engineering
