Employment Type: Part timeShift: Rotating Shift Description: Job Title: Dietary Aide Employment Type: Part -Time Shift: Rotating (must be flexible to work every other weekend) Location: St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA

Position Purpose

  • The Dietary Aide completes daily responsibilities that may include meal assembly, cold food preparation, utility and dish room functions for the Dietary Department.

As a “Dietary Aide” you will:

  • Dietary Aides are to complete daily responsibilities that may include meal assembly, cold food preparation, utility and dish room functions, and preparing coffee and other drinks in our coffee shop.

  • Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures

  • Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times

  • Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations

  • Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning

  • Assisting with educational programs on nutrition

  • Talking to patients on the phone and receiving their meal order

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)

  • Barista or food service experience

  • 1 year experience (minimum)

  • 2-4 years experience (preferred)
