Position Summary The Nursing Excellence Intern will support the Director of Nursing Professional Practice in advancing nursing excellence initiatives across the organization.

Position Responsibilities The intern will assist with preparation of the Magnet Recognition Program® document submission, development of the annual nursing report, coordination of nursing shared decision-making councils, and support of the nursing certification task force. Assist with project management activities related to nursing excellence and professional practice initiatives.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
-
Required Qualifications (Including any licensure, certification, education): Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Teams).

Preferred: Interest in healthcare leadership, professional practice, healthcare quality, or Magnet Recognition. Experience with data analysis, report writing, project coordination, or meeting facilitation. Familiarity with healthcare environments.
Required:
Strong communication skills, independent worker, intuitive, strong initiative, and critical thinking skills
Excel and Word proficiency
