Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented Document Scanner to support document digitization and data conversion operations for our client that specializes in document scanning, data conversion, and digital information management, helping organizations convert physical records into organized, searchable digital files. This individual will prepare physical documents for scanning, operate scanning equipment, review digital images for quality, and ensure files are accurately organized and accessible.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare paper documents for scanning by removing staples, clips, bindings, and organizing pages.
  • Operate document scanning equipment to convert physical records into digital files.
  • Review scanned images for clarity, accuracy, missing pages, damage, and alignment.
  • Re-scan documents when necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Index, organize, and label electronic documents according to project requirements.
  • Handle confidential, fragile, or sensitive documents with care.
  • Maintain productivity while ensuring strong attention to detail.
  • Follow established document handling and quality-control procedures.
  • Assist with organizing physical documents before and after scanning.

Skills and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive, production-oriented tasks.
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet daily production expectations.
  • Previous document scanning, imaging, records management, data entry, or administrative experience is a plus.
  • Ability to handle documents carefully and maintain confidentiality.
