FTE: 0.001

Shift: Varied

Evening Shift Differential: $2.00/hour

Night Shift Differential: $2.50/hour

Hours: Varied hours

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for the performance of general diagnostic imaging procedures on patients utilizing a computer-based system for patient record and image storage. Intern will perform exams in a variety of clinical settings within the Main and Children’s Hospital on adult, pediatric, geriatric, and trauma patients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Must be in good standing in the Penn State ARRT Allied Health program

  • Minimum six (6) months of clinical experience as a student in the radiology department.

  • Must have passed all related exam competencies as set forth by the program guidelines and ARRT.

  • BLS certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Computer skills as well as working knowledge of hospital RIS and PACS system.
