Salary:
Per diem $170 with increase/retroactive to collective bargaining agreement after 40 days.
Duties:
Responsibilities as per District needs
Qualifications:
-
NYS Certified School Social Worker and 1-3 years experience preferred
-
Possess appropriate counseling experience, specialized training/coursework
-
Demonstrated ability to work with peers and administrators; willingness to learn and grow in order to better meet the needs of students
-
Ability to provide emotional support to children with behavioral, social and academic needs
-
Perform assessments, develop and implement therapeutic interventions with children and families.
-
Knowledge of school social worker, school counselor and/or school psychologist practices
-
CPI or its equivalent training preferred
