In this pivotal position, you will drive processes essential to Amazon's financial planning capabilities, partnering broadly across the Finance organization to translate complex data into compelling narratives and actionable insights that guide executive decision-making.

This role owns the strategy, governance, and oversight of LEO Infrastructure's end-to-end decision systems that underpin our financial reporting. You will partner with key business stakeholders to validate system inputs, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose strategies that elevate decision-making across the organization.

The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment. The team needs a self-starter who can work efficiently and autonomously while managing complex multi-stakeholder coordination across highly ambiguous environments characterized by dynamic schedule changes, unpredictable demand forecasts, shifting political landscapes, and evolving international trade regulations.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive financial bridges, narratives and strategic documents for executive leadership, covering monthly, quarterly, and annual planning processes

•Collaborate proactively with business finance teams using a customer-obsessed approach to ensure data accuracy and alignment of financial reporting

•Create guidance and workback plans to support key financial review meetings and processes

  • Support process governance and improvement by implementing solutions using AI tools and automation technologies to enhance financial analysis and insights

  • Utilize advanced financial systems to conduct deep-dive analyses and generate executive-level summaries

•Provide Monthly Financial Review content and participate in MBR discussions with senior leadership

•Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation throughout financial planning cycles

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

  • 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience

  • 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

  • Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

  • MBA, or CPA

  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL

  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
