Northeast Delta Human Services Authority is seekinga Behavioral Health Center Manager--B to oversee the operations within a behavioral health clinic. The incumbent of this position provides both supervisory and clinical services. This role promotes, directs, and supervises the effective operation of a behavioral health clinic, assuring that it meets the needs of the consumers, their families, and the public by utilizing all available resources. The clinic manager is responsible for assuring the clinic's continued transition and adherence to the Integrated Care Model.

Applicants with l icensure as either a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Qualifications

A master’s degree in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field plus four years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling; OR

A doctorate in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field, or a medical degree plus three years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Works as a part of a treatment team to provide quality care and reduce the stigma surrounding behavioral health (mental health or substance use) treatment.

  • Directs, plans, and implements the programs serving the outpatient needs of the region's consumers, including outpatient treatment services, community support programs, interaction with courts, quality control programs, and consultation and education.

  • Administers clinic programs and identifies staff developmental needs. Also, conducts supervisory and general staff meetings to discuss operational factors, billing, personnel matters, and technical problems regarding the clinic.

  • Interprets, implements, and monitors agency policy and provides consultation to clinical staff regarding complex cases, and serves as the compliance officer to intervene regarding management of care.

  • Represents NEDHSA in the community at large and participates in and organizes committees that plan, develop, and/or monitor regional behavioral health operations. Also, oversees the effective operation and accessibility of MICC.

Position-Specific Details:

Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, or Detail to Special Duty

Location: Winnsboro Integrated Care Clinic/Columbia Integrated Care Clinic

Compensation: NEDHSA is a designated approved National He alth Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program to pay off student loans.

  • 2-year Full-Time Clinical Practice: NHSC will pay up to $50,000* for an initial 2 years of full-time clinical practice to clinicians.

(Full-time clinical practice is defined as no less than 40 hours per week, for a minimum of 45 weeks per year.)
