Job Description

The Assembly Technician -II takes on greater responsibility across front-line assembly and e-bike operations. With a foundation of hands-on experience, you'll tackle more complex tasks, support new team members, and continue building your technical expertise through Trek University training. This role is ideal for someone ready to deepen their skills and take the next step in their career.

This role will be based at our HQ in Waterloo, WI.

The standard shift will be 6a-2p Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform front-line assembly tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency

  • Assemble and quality-check bikes, including electrical components and battery systems

  • Serve as a resource for Technicians, providing guidance and answering technical questions

  • Participate in Trek University training programs to expand knowledge and certifications

  • Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to leads

  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, especially for e-bike battery handling

  • Consistently meet or exceed quality and throughput expectations

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in bicycle assembly, manufacturing, or a related field

  • Demonstrated proficiency with hand tools and assembly processes

  • Familiarity with e-bike systems is a plus

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and assembly diagrams

  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative

  • Trek University coursework completed or in progress preferred
