Job Description

Development & Integration (40%)

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions using SQL, APIs, SSIS, and IBM Integration Broker/App Connect
  • Build and support system integrations between various business applications
  • Develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, queries, and database solutions
  • Create and modify Crystal Reports to support business reporting needs
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Support application enhancements, upgrades, and new deployments

Support & Production Operations (60%)

  • Monitor integrations and ensure accurate data flow between systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, reporting, data, and integration issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and data reconciliation when failures occur
  • Respond to production incidents, service requests, and support tickets
  • Participate in testing efforts, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
  • Document technical processes, system changes, and support procedures

Collaboration & Process Improvement § Partner with business users to understand requirements and identify opportunities for automation § Analyze data and business processes to improve efficiency and system reliability § Ensure solutions comply with security standards, company policies, and best practices

Skills and Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in application support, reporting, database development, and systems integration
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server, including advanced SQL scripting skills
  • Proficiency in .NET/C# and JavaScript
  • Proven experience developing, supporting, and troubleshooting system integrations using:
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • REST and SOAP APIs
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex application, database, and integration issues in production environments
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and change management processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field
  • Experience working with IBM Integration Broker (IIB) / App Connect Enterprise
  • Experience with database design, data modeling, and data analysis
  • Experience creating and maintaining Crystal Reports and BOBJ
  • Experience supporting financial systems, accounting applications, or ERP platforms
  • Knowledge of financial processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting
  • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools
  • Familiarity with cloud integration technologies and modern API frameworks
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or enterprise business environments
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality practices
