Description

The College of Business at Stony Brook University is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor position in Marketing. This is a full-time appointment in the College’s Marketing Area. The position starts on September 1, 2027. Teaching load and research support are comparable to other public research institutions. Salary is commensurate with qualification, depending on rank, record, experience, and relevant skills. Experienced candidates with an excellent track record of publications in the premier FT 50 journals are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates are required to hold a Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in Marketing or a related field from an accredited institution

  • Must have demonstrated, or show high potential for, excellence in research that will have a strong impact on the field of marketing

Candidates must demonstrate excellence in teaching

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A high quality and productive research portfolio, representing a significant presence in FT-50 journal

  • Commitment to and track record of engaging in service at the college of university level

  • Research area and approach that complements existing faculty interests and methods
