Job Description

Overview:

This is a hybrid Business Analyst (50%) / Product Owner (25%) / Project Manager (25%) role supporting the BI and Data Warehouse team. The individual will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, owning analytics initiatives from requirements gathering through delivery. This is not a traditional reporting analyst role and requires strong stakeholder management, data analysis, and Agile experience.

Day-to-Day:

  • Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Milk Sourcing, and Operations to gather reporting and analytics requirements
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for BI developers and data teams
  • Analyze data, validate requirements, investigate data issues, and identify data sources
  • Own and prioritize the BI backlog, participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies
  • Coordinate delivery of Power BI dashboards, reports, data products, and data extracts
  • Lead larger analytics projects, including documentation, testing oversight, timeline management, stakeholder communication, and business signoffs
  • Support compliance, audit readiness, SOP adherence, and documentation in a regulated environment

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, BI Analyst, Data/Product Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role

Strong Business Analysis experience, including:

  • Requirements gathering and documentation
  • Process analysis
  • Translating business needs into technical solutions
  • Working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams

Hands-on Power BI experience:

  • Creating/modifying reports and dashboards
  • Navigating datasets
  • Performing analysis and data validation
  • Troubleshooting reporting issues

Strong SQL skills:

  • Writing queries
  • Investigating tables and relationships
  • Performing data validation and source tracing

Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts:

  • Data Warehouses and Data Marts
  • ETL processes
  • Star Schema
  • Data architecture and data flow concepts

Experience working in an Agile environment:

  • Sprint planning
  • Backlog management
  • Agile ceremonies
  • Product ownership responsibilities

Ability to independently manage projects, priorities, stakeholders, and deliverables Experience in a regulated industry, such as: Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical

Experience supporting compliance, validation, audit, or SOP-driven environments

Strong Product Owner background with backlog ownership and prioritization experience

Experience using AI tools

Advanced analytics or data product management experience
