Full job description
FocusKPI is seeking a Clinical Project Coordinator to join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company.
Work Location: Mountain View, CA (Onsite role, 5 days/week)
Duration: 6-month contract with potential to extend depending on your performance
Pay Range: $30+/hr
Responsibilities:

Manage clinical data collection, analysis, and study documentation.

Ensure compliance with GCP (Good Clinical Practice), FDA, and HIPAA requirements.

Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams on studies utilizing wearable health metrics.

Support Clinical Research Organizations (CROs), track project timelines, and manage external vendor relationships and study budgets.

Operate and maintain physiological data collection equipment, establishing best practices for junior staff and technicians.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in a related field.

3+ years of industry clinical research or data analysis experience (pharma or medical devices).

Prior hands-on experience in clinical research coordination, trial operations, or managing biomedical/digital health projects.

Familiarity with digital health technologies, wearable sensors, medical terminology, and regulatory guidelines (such as GCP or FDA standards).

Strong cross-functional communication, vendor management, documentation tracking, and proficiency in modern productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).

Familiarity with statistical software and clinical trial safety monitoring.
