Senior Teamcenter Developer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Teamcenter Software Developer to support a major Teamcenter platform upgrade and customization remediation initiative. This role is focused on hands-on software development, code analysis, customization upgrades, and Active Workspace enhancements. The successful candidate will assess existing Teamcenter customizations, determine upgrade compatibility, remediate custom code, and support the migration from Teamcenter 14.02 to Teamcenter 26.06. This is a technical individual contributor role. Candidates should have deep Teamcenter development expertise and a strong track record of building and maintaining custom Teamcenter solutions within engineering and manufacturing environments.

Skills and Requirements

Teamcenter Development: 10+ years of Teamcenter development experience Extensive Teamcenter customization experience Strong Teamcenter server-side development experience Experience developing and supporting custom Teamcenter solutions in production environments Experience analyzing legacy custom code and implementing upgrade remediation

Upgrade Experience Experience supporting Teamcenter version upgrades Experience assessing customization compatibility across Teamcenter releases Experience modifying and retrofitting existing customizations for newer Teamcenter versions Experience supporting migration from older Teamcenter environments to modern releases Ability to evaluate existing code and determine required changes during upgrade activities Current initiative involves upgrading Teamcenter from 14.02 to 26.06 and remediating customizations created during a recent Siemens implementation.

Active Workspace (AWC): Hands-on Active Workspace customization experience Active Workspace client-side development experience Experience modifying and extending AWC functionality Experience supporting AWC customization upgrades and remediation

BMIDE: BMIDE configuration and customization Data model design and extension Business object customization Package creation and deployment Configuration management

Teamcenter Server-Side Development: ITK development Handler development Workflow customization Business logic customization Server-side extensions

Programming experience with: C++, C, Java PLM Functional Knowledge

Experience supporting: Product Structure / BOM Workflow Change Management Document Management Aerospace & Defense industry experience Siemens Teamcenter implementation experience NX integration experience SAP or ERP integration experience SOA services experience Teamcenter integration experience Agile delivery environment experience
