Full job description

Client Technology Analyst (Intermediate) - Under general supervision provides timely and creative solutions to endpoint issues of moderate to complex nature to ensure end-user productivity. Performs restorative and maintenance actions, either remotely or on-site, to resolve problems using basic troubleshooting and technical skills. Responds to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing problem equipment or software installations, moves, and configuration changes. Maintains accurate information and data regarding end-user issues within the tracking system and according to policies and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide desk-side technical support to end users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and peripheral issues for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and approved enterprise applications in accordance with established service levels.

  • Respond to and resolve escalated service requests assigned by the Help Desk or other IT teams, performing advanced troubleshooting and coordinating with network, systems, and application support staff as needed to ensure timely resolution and documentation.

  • Support endpoint lifecycle management activities, including imaging, configuration, deployment, replacement, and maintenance of workstations and peripherals, while maintaining accurate asset inventory and compliance with organizational standards.

  • Deliver on-site and remote technical support during emergency activations, continuity events, and special projects, ensuring availability of critical technology resources and operational readiness for impacted users.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Two plus years of relevant experience providing desktop, endpoint, or end-user technical support.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.

  • The ability to interact with staff at all levels.

  • Strong knowledge of personal computer usage in a networked environment and various software, specifically Microsoft Office.

This applies to any position with network access to Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) or access to an area where CJIS is received, maintained or stored either manually or electronically (i.e. custodian, maintenance).

Automatic Disqualification:

  • Convictions, probation, or deferred adjudication for any Felony, and any Class A Misdemeanor
  • Convictions, probation, or deferred adjudication for a Class B Misdemeanor, if within the previous 10 years
  • Open arrest for any criminal offense (Felony or Misdemeanor)
  • Family Violence conviction

  • Full-time.

Work Arrangement:

  • Onsite 5 days/week
