Assess students' abilities and needs required to complete course of instruction.

Develop curriculum and provide instruction to ensure student progress.

Evaluate student progress.

Maintain discipline and security in classroom, shops and other applicable work areas.

Supervise the use of all tools and equipment to ensure proper security and storage.

Maintain student and other required records and submit reports as required.

Assist with job placement of course graduates.

Maintain learning environment, which is safe, and adequate to support proper training.

Perform other duties as required in the area of vocational education.
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and relevant program experience. SCDC Minimum Requirements:
- A high school diploma and three (3) to five (5) years' experience in relevant vocational trade of brick masonry.
