Full job description
Summary
You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the G-1 Division of MARFORCOM NORFOLK.
Duties
- You will identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to problems in organization structure and/or workforce utilization.
- You will initiate, survey, and appraise the forms management and Publications Program to ensure that program objectives are being achieved
- You will coordinate plans with affected officials and personnel; resolves problems; refers unresolved or controversial matters to supervisor.
- You will serve as the external website and share portal for the administrative section.
- You will organize and prioritizes awards as they flow through the system.
- You will provide screening, reporting, funding requests, expenditures, and status on funds for the travel system and budget expenditures.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector identifying, analyzing, implementing, and providing administrative services for the support services program (e.g. records management, awards, Freedom of Information Act, and Privacy); resolving or proposing solutions to space utilization (e.g. equipment, supplies) for work purposes; controlling, reviewing, and editing proposed new and/or revised publications, forms and/or orders; assessing organization compliance and regulatory requirements; and maintaining oversight of the purchase card holder (e.g. commercial, travel). Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education as follows: I have successfully completed master's or equivalent graduate degree or I have successfully completed 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or I have successfully completed LL.B. or J.D., if related to the position being filled https://www.usajobs.gov/Help/working-in-government/unique-hiring-paths/students/federal-occupations-by-college-major/ or I have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
