Assign product to pick slots in the warehouse to maximize efficiency and minimize errors. Provide best selection sequence to enable most productive selection process. The work takes place in normal warehouse environments as well as in cooler and freezer areas where the temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees. All job responsibilities are to be performed in adherence with the Company’s Cultural Beliefs and Code of Conduct

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

The starting pay rate is $29.00 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Slot product in all warehouse areas (dry, cooler, freezer, PIR) to provide an efficient and safe work environment.
  • Accurate slotting of new items as well as daily slotting moves to increase productivity and cases per pallet.
  • Monitor, research and respond to Slot Check email inquiries.
  • Partner with Inventory Control to research and reconcile damaged product.
  • Manage daily replenishment priorities.
  • Perform regularly scheduled audits including; aisle audits, check digits, rack labels, TI/HI, and pallet put-aways.
  • Daily communication with Warehouse Manager about work status, receiving errors or safety concerns.
  • Lead morning huddle for warehouse employees which includes communicating daily safety tip and inbound pallets, and lead on the job stretching.
  • Adhere to all safety practices and company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Related Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse administrative or clerical role. Prior slotting experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally. Must have excellent telephone skills, strong math skills, and organizational skills, with attention to detail. Basic computer skills, and good analytical skills. Must be able to resolve routine problems of limited scope. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state or local minimum wage thresholds).
