Full job description

CDL Driver Class A

Ultimate LLC is immediately hiring CDL Drivers for civil projects in the Hampstead MD area. The pay range is $25-$27 per hour based on experience. All CDL Drivers are scheduled 40+ hours a week. This role does require previous trucking experience, with preference towards flatbed experience. We are looking for skilled craftsmen to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven craftsmen. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole and optional direct deposit.

Ultimate Job Duties

  • MANUAL CONSTRUCTION LABOR REQUIRED! (40% driving, 60% labor)Properly collect and load guardrails, equipment, tools with or without the use of equipment as needed

  • Helping the crew install guardrails and materials

  • Follow safety procedures on the road and while loading / unloading, lifting up to 70 lbs multiple times throughout the day

  • Ensure equipment meets OSHA standards

  • Use GPS and communicate with supervisors to stay informed on routes

  • Additional labor in between stops.

Ultimate CDL Driver Requirements

  • 2-5 years of driving experience

  • Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, vest, steel toe boots) required

  • Construction experience preferred (Not required)

  • Ability to perform regular standing, bending and kneeling and lifting of up to 70 lbs without assistance

  • Drug Test Required - DOT Pre Employment

  • Background Check Required - Driver Record, Criminal Record & FMCSA Clearinghouse Check

  • DOT Medical Card Required as well as drug test
